another full day of shared faith and vision

Today was a full day — as usual! Somehow, we always manage to pack so much into a single day, it feels as though God blesses us with more than just 24 hours.

Our day began with a visit to Lifesong Farm and the business offices, where we met Dennis and Teddy, the heartbeat of the business side of Lifesong school, orphanage, and farm. They were so welcoming, and as they shared their hearts, we could clearly sense a shared vision rooted in faith, purpose, and a desire to impact lives. Dennis spoke passionately about the vision for expansion and how our group’s experience could play a powerful role in the development of clinics and hospitals — it was a deeply meaningful conversation that stirred excitement for future collaboration.

Afterwards, Emmanuel gave us an incredible tour of the farm, offering detailed insight into how they raise berries and other fruits. They truly farm God’s way, and it’s evident they are blessed for it. As a beautiful act of generosity, Emmanuel gifted our team 12 boxes of strawberries — what a heartfelt surprise!

Although we had originally planned to run a mobile clinic at Lifesong, they hadn’t had enough prep time to gather the school children. So, we adjusted and headed out to the Kafubu block community and orphan school — a longer journey, but so worth it. The moment we arrived, we were greeted with hugs, laughter, and pure joy. The children’s excitement was contagious, and we immediately felt the energy shift — it was fun, unfiltered, and genuine.

We ran a clinic for the families, children, and staff, serving with love and compassion. Afterward, we jumped into games of tag and football, and spent time simply being present with the kids — moments that were as joyful as they were heartfelt.

We wrapped up the day back at the Lifesong guest house with a delicious meal and some much-needed rest — all accompanied, of course, by some delicious coffee.

Days like these are a beautiful reminder of why we’re here — motivated by love, purpose, and a call to serve.
